Nonprofits pay major salaries to attract, keep leaders

A CityBusiness review of some 2,000 tax records for nonprofits in the New Orleans region shows a broad salary range for their executives. An ample number provide significant compensation to leaders, and this holds true even when excluding employers such as hospitals and private universities that skew the numbers higher.
